
In a press release, the carrier claimed its 5G network has “potential speed almost four times that of 4G/LTE,” as well as offering a smoother experience, particularly when streaming or gaming.
Additionally, 5G plans are available today. Fizz members who want 5G must have a compatible device and then subscribe to one of the mobile plans. Current members can upgrade their plan by heading to their account and clicking on the ‘My Account’ tab.
Fizz 5G plans start at 35GB for $35 per month and include unlimited texts, minutes, and voicemail. Additionally, Fiiz offers no activation fee, free eSIM and no commitment. You can also get a Canada and U.S. 35GB/$36 plan as well. Additionally, you can get a 100GB Canada and U.S. plan for $46 per month.
Fizz Mobile is a subsidiary of Quebecor, which also owns Freedom Mobile and Videotron.
